The landscaping offers a lovely introduction to a nice restaurant. Once inside, you find an interesting architecture restored to provide a nice dining environment. However, it is not quiet, so it can be difficult to carry on a conversation with someone who is hard of hearing. Then there is the food. They have quite a variety. On various occasions, we have had burgers, the steak sandwich, salads, pecan crusted chicken, even fish tacos. They even have their famous house-made potato chips, which are worth trying. Never has anyone in our party been dissatisfied. So I highly recommend this place, whether for out of town guests or just a nice meal.
Expected more. Burger was dry as hell. This whole bringing me a burger with everything on the side is wrong I'm paying for you to make the burger not me. Salmon was ok. Shrimp was so over cooked they were like rubber. Server was great. Ac was dripping water on the table the whole time. In summery will not be returning.
One of the best restaurants in Victoria. I ate the grilled salmon and it was excellent. It was cooked medium rare and had a good taste. My wife had the fried shrimp. The were very fresh tasting and cooked exactly right. The chocolate shooter for dessert was a perfect finish to the meal. All in all, a good experience. We will be back.
Went there for date night with my husband. It was Saturday night around 7-7:30. There were no tables available except for outside so we sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. He offered me a selection of Vegetarian options after a friendly discussion of him making recommendations of their menu favorites. The food was delicious, they had a great wine selection and we got dessert to go. It was a little expensive but so worth every penny! So glad we chose to eat there for our date night.
Food was phenomenal, atmosphere was very nice and laid back. The restaurant is right on the river if you want a scenic view while you eat. Overall one of the best dinners I've had in awhile!
