I rented a car from Avis on Navarro on 4/30/13 and was EXTREMELY displeased with the way I was treated. First off the employees there were unprofessional in their appearence and demeanor. Second off I asked them before I left if I could leave my truck there why I ran the rented van to our home. They told me it would be no problem at all. So I run the van home (keep in mind that I wasn't gone more than 15 min.) and as im at the house getting things settled with the van i get 9 missed calls from Avis. I called Avis back and they told me that my truck was about to be towed. I was furious as I had just discussed and received their approval that I could leave my truck there as I ran home. So I rushed back up there and apon my arrival I was greeted with hostility! One of the employees even asked me if I could see? (Referring to the 30 min parking signs) I will not EVER use Avis again for any car rental need ever!
Worst experience I have ever had at a rental agency. Because my credit was not what they wanted and I live in Yorktown Texas they would not rent to me. Oh yes and because I had a major debit card not a major credit card. I had just bought a new car and wrote a check for it and had lots of money in the bank but I could not pay cash for a rental. Avis this is BS and I will let everyone know about this your policy Sucks. You do not deserve a fraction of a Star much less one Star.......
Do not rent from this place. The manager does not have the skills required to be a manager. My child has asthma and the car smelled like smoke, so we took it back for another one. We were told "they just want a bigger car", but I actually would have taken one the same size if it did not smell like smoke. I left car and went to Enterprise. Customer service is 100 times better. did not want to give one star but had to click at less one star to post.
