1. Not friendly
Don't expect friendly conversation with the dentist. He doesn't explain what he's doing, and staff do not answer questions either.
My girlfriend has had the misfortune of dealing with this dentist on multiple occasions. She needed a root canal for a broken tooth. Full disclaimer, this is written based off of the info she has given me immediately after visits.
Also, when told that his patient is pain, he ignores them and moves on with his business. Not okay. He also does not like anyone in the room with the patient when he's working. It doesn't matter whether the patient is nervous or not. He doesn't accommodate.
Before she knew it, he was pulling a needle out of her mouth (thanks for the heads up). He also is very rough when handling the patient's mouth.
In conclusion:
The office is nice and the reception staff was friendly enough. That's about all the good I have to say about this office. Read other reviews and see for yourself. I personally go to a dentist in a different city, and can't recommend anyone in Victoria. I can however, give you our view on this dentist.

I recommend anyone looking for a great dentist along with a great staff, go to Dr.Garrett. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dental needs.
Not very accommodating to Foster families with Medicaid.
I haven't been to a dentist since I was a child and Dr. Garrett and his associates made me feel comfortable about going to the dentist after so many years. No one in his office ever made me feel bad about the condition of my teeth. They have always been very considerate of my cituation and so polite and respectful to me as a patient.
Dr. Garrett really does think of his patients. He is very good at what he does. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. His team of associates also deserve recognition as being the best caring staff I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They are all so respectful and caring.
First of all, they have they needed several more appointments to do the procedure than what they originally had discussed. So what should have taken two or three appointments for a simple procedure has now grown to four or five.
