I was eager to leave this place and go elsewhere and enjoy a good cup of coffee and a more friendly customer service atmosphere.
The service was horrible and very slow. No refills on our coffee or water. Waitress forgets our toast even after we reminded her. When she brings the check we asked her to remove the charge for the toast because we never got it. She says, "I could have sworn I brought it, I'm so sorry." And we heard her apologize to two other people as well. So I had to speak to a manager to get it right. It was also very hot in the back seating area and the manager said the A/C wasn't working. So I asked myself, "Why the heck do they seat us there to begin with?" Very bad experience overall!!
The food was good. We were seated fairly quick. Took forever to get the bill at the end. Then it took 10+ minutes to check out because they only had one cashier, causing a long line and wait to pay.
The cook did an outstanding job. The waitress approached the table and took my order with what appeared a reluctant attitude. She came to the table once to take the order, and once again to leave the order.
Best breakfast. I have had in forever! Kudos to the morning cook. Wish I had gotten his name.
The whole point of biscuits and sausage gravy, is the fact you're suppose to cook your gravy with the sausage so it can come together and taste exceptional... You FAILED.. YOU HEATED UP SOME WHITE GRAVY AND POURED IT ON TOP OF BISCUITS AND CHOPPED UP A SAUSAGE PATTY AND THREW THAT ON TOP. HORRIBLE.... ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Not to mention the price was ridiculous for a moons over my hammy and an order if has browns and chocolate shake. $16.?? Ridiculous wasn't worth $5. Never will visit this Denny's again!
The bottom of the plate barely touched the table and she was out of sight. I asked her for a refill cup of coffee, she said yea, and she never returned with the coffee. Just as well, I don't enjoy coffee with coffee grinds in it.
To rate this visit one star is an overrating. Highly disappointed visit.
