I have never been more furious in my life my 78 year old grandmother went in for a biopsy, oh where to begin, they didnt sedate her when they should have, collapsed her lung, had no bed side manner at all were laughing amongst themselves instead of even basic human beings telling her what was going on. Simply treated her like dirt since she is elderly. Ripped her shirt off instead of giving her a gown. Needless to say she was in tears and will never return here. I would love to meet your staff and spit in their face. Shame on you! do not go here, dont let your family go here and damn sure not alone, there is a reason for the 2 star rating as i see NOW, never again!!!!!!
It was necessary to bring my husband to the ER the Sunday after Hurricane Harvey. Some of the staff had been in the ER since Thursday prior to the storm. In many cases the staff had no idea what damage their homes might have sustained. They were away from the families. The hospital had electricity thanks to a generator, but no water. They were evacuating patients to SAT Austin, and College Station. With all that chaos around them, they still took care of my husband with such professionalism. We are extremely grateful to all the staff - from the registration desk, to the imaging department, to the nurses in the ER. Doctor Francis was outstanding. And, he had a wonderful sense of humor which helped our situation. BRAVO to the staff of DeTar on Navarro!
The wait here is so long waited 4hrs until they finally saw my baby
They can't seem to make a phone call to tell family that your loved one has been moved again. My dad had been transferred 5 times and not one single call or notification of any type. They don't even acknowledge you when you go. I had to demand that his nurse tell me what was wrong with him. I kept getting the run around. I never have liked Detar.
Tried to find out if my son was there but the answering desk person is truly, really stupid.... Said he's not there 3 times then transfered me and WOW, he was there... Need better people to answer the phone. Preferably one with a brain.. And the nurses won't answer some questions over the phone, but other people got the answers... What is going on
