Great customer service
Went in this afternoon wanting to just browse and take my time looking for a few items that I could use. So as soon as I walked in the guy from behind the counter immediately came to the door asking if I needed help and what I was looking for. I told him that I am just looking right now so he walks away and stands 10 or so feet behind my back. So now I have a guy standing behind my back staring at me watching everything I do. So I start to slowly walk around the store and he is right behind me the whole time. There was a lady who needed to check out for the service on her bike so he left. As soon as she was done he came back stood 10 feet away and kept on constantly monitoring my every move. Made my way to the back looking for the helmets, which is what I mainly wanted to purchase, and after looking for them for a bit found them located behind the counter so you cant freely look at them. After I did make my way to the back the female working on a bike shouted "is there anything we help you find?" And that was the last i heard from the people working there.
When I had a Question about my Bicycle, the Folks at Bills Bikes are VERY Helpful. Thnx.
So overall the service I received was not the service that i like to receive when i am about to drop some coin in products. There was never once a Hi how are you, welcome to Bills. Not the friendly customer service that I as the customer feel I should have received. They were there, they asked i what i was needing so I can give them props for that. The hovering behind my back was something that made my decision not to purchase anything.
I had never been here before, but had seen it for years. I finally went in because I am researching bicycles. I met Bill, his wife, and his daughter. A true small business and family owned and operated. For the life of me I cannot remember Bill's wife's name, but she was incredibly helpful. She asked if I needed assistance and since I had never visited the shop, she gave me a tour and asked me what I was looking for. Incredibly knowledgeable and not attempting to push a sale. She insisted, if nothing else to take a ride on any bike I would and try then out. I will be going back when I decide to make a purchase.
