The property manager was slow to attending to the roach and rat problem. The apartment was so infested that I refused to eat there, out of possible health issues. Upon viewing it was mentioned that the carpets needed to be cleaned or replaced as they we're heavily stained. Once I moved in I saw it had not been done and my complaints went unanswered. My deposit was also held from me despite being told it would be returned. After several phone calls I was then told I would receive a check of 60; which then took another month to receive. Don't move here for the price of the rent compared to the conditions its over priced and disgusting.
The only positive thing about this complex is the prices. Our carpet was horribly disgusting and they refused to change it. The inside was musky from the old wear and tear. Very old styled kitchen and bathroom. Our toilet had a leak when we first moved in, and toward the end of our lease there was a huge roach problem. When I complained to management they swore pest control had come but I know In fact they did not. I was so happy to move out of there. Also it's not in the best part of town.
The apartment is nice. It has a chimney and porch, but the conditions they handed me the keys with are not very decent. The toilet was cracked and caused a leak into one of the bedroom carpets. The smell is gruesome and after 2 weeks of calling the front office, maintenance guy, and putting in a work order personally at the front office, there has been nothing done about it.
We put down a $300 deposit and and $80 application fee a month prior to our move in date. When we went to sign the lease they had forgeten we were moving in and said they didn't have anything available. I have been trying to contact them about getting my deposit back but get hung up on or told to leave a message. I havent received any calls back.
