Needless to say I packed my baby up and we took off!
When I had to leave due to bed bugs the guy at the desk was understanding.
The room was musty, carpet damp, chair stained, beds had bed bugs, stained mattress, and crumbs/trash between bed and wall. (I only even saw these things because I was freaking out about the 2 bed bugs we found and ripping sheets off.)
Comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Awful wifi. Overall, a positive experience.
The only thing I can say that was nice about this place was the staff.
Enjoyed our stay!! Clean rooms...friendly staff...variety on free breakfast...comfy beds and plenty of pillows!!
Paid more money for a nicer hotel. Worth it!
After reading some of the reviews, I decided to chime in. As a travel nurse, I stayed at this facility for 13 weeks. When judging a hotel (car, house, etc.) we must use some perspective people and compare apples to apples. Wouldn't it be a bit silly to compare a brand new Mercedes Benz to a Ford Focus (don't complain when you get home and the Ford Focus doesn't have wood grain or heated seats). Wouldn't it be silly to compare a $500,000 house to one that cost $120,000)....a $120 house will probably not come with an elevator people....I think you get the point here. What kind of breakfast are you expecting?...If you want a king's breakfast, take your cheap ass to the Marriot. If you require a bigger room, show some initiative and look around before you make a decision. Having said the above, this hotel meets and exceeds what a hotel with its cost should. Generally, the staff was great, small grievances were solved expeditiously and professionally, the rooms were very clean and spacious. The grounds and upkeep at this hotel are impeccable. Sandra, the manager deserves very high marks. This was my first time in the state of Texas and this hotel made a very big impact on my adjustments to a new environment. If you find more than the occasional small issues you run into with ANY hotel, you should look in that nice big mirror they have in the bathroom...you just might be the problem
Very clean, wonderful beds. They also had a microwave and fridge.
