However it does have a lot to offer the handicapped including a lift chair for the pool.
Quite sad little place. Extremely odd parking situation with awkward access to the property from the street and difficult maneuvering in the parking lot. Questionable characters hanging around the property, slipping around from room to room. Extremely hot in the room taking hours and hours to cool off (I had to go get a fan). The temperature didn't get comfortable until the wee hours of the morning. No alarm clocks made for an anxious night of possibly missing my early morning appointment...especially since I could not sleep because of the heat. And the shower pressure was nothing more than a trickle. Certainly not worth the price I had to pay. Especially since the advertised price did not exist. I paid as much for this place as I would have paid down the street. Too many other motels in the area offering much better accommodations that I really should have checked on before staying here. Other motels posted rates only a few dollars more than this place. The room was clean but very small and tight.
My husband and I stayed at the Motel6 in Victoria Texas on 5/24/17 and we're unable to leave our room the following morning due to a police raid outside of our window. Because of police commands to return to room and not come back out we were informed by phone from the desk attendant that we were to remain inside. My husband missed a very important job interview and has now lost the opportunity all together after months of communication. Definitely made me extremely anxious about the quality and safeness of our location of choice. We normally always use y'all in travel necessities but after this I'm not sure we will ever feel safe at one of your establishments again.
Room is small, dirty. Has roaches, mold in the bathroom. Asked for non smoking got smoking. No way to make coffee, no coffee in the office, no styrofoam cups, bowls or plates. No eating utensils. One towel, one wash cloth.
They are charging $90 a night for this place and they won't even clean your room. The lady at the front desk just says I know they didnt clean your room. The owner says if I'm not happy why don't I stay somewhere else. Knowing good and well that the rooms aren't available because of Harvey Storm. The pool is filthy they have debris Lane all around Motel $90 and this is a one-star Hotel Motel 6 should be ashamed of this establishment
So moving back to victoria i spent my first night back in Motel 6 . Upon reading reviews i learned to bring my own fan and two bottles of roach spray . however , the air conditioner was quiet and there were no roaches . the manager even let me move in away from smokers . my room did smell like smoke but i bought air freshener just in case . This motel follows its brand promise for the most part. Pretty much impressed
